Scope and responsibility

This Privacy Policy describes how the Siela project handles personal information through the Siela website, hosted workspace, and related support channels. It does not automatically govern a self-hosted deployment controlled by another organization.

In a customer workspace, the customer organization generally decides why its business data is processed. Siela processes that workspace data to provide the service and follow the customer's instructions.

Information Siela handles

Account and contact information

Names, email addresses, authentication details, workspace membership, role information, and support communications.

Workspace and business information

CRM contacts, companies, pipeline records, customer notes, team activity, tasks, projects, approvals, reminders, documents, and other content added to a Siela workspace.

Meetings, voice, and communications

Meeting audio captured after a user starts recording, transcripts, summaries, decisions, action items, dictation, emails, calendar events, and connected communication history.

Technical information

Device and browser information, security events, session data, diagnostics, and logs needed to operate and protect the service.

How information is used

  • Provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot Siela.
  • Retrieve shared context and carry authorized work across Siela products.
  • Transcribe meetings, generate requested outputs, and perform approved agent actions.
  • Connect services selected by a workspace user or administrator.
  • Respond to support, privacy, and security enquiries.
  • Meet legal obligations and prevent misuse.

AI processing and model training

Siela does not use customer data to train AI models. When a user requests an AI feature, Siela may send the minimum relevant content to an AI or transcription provider configured for that feature so it can complete the requested task.

The provider and deployment method may differ between hosted, customer-configured, and self-hosted installations. Siela will maintain a current list of subprocessors before general availability.

When information is shared

Siela may share information with:

  • Infrastructure, storage, transcription, AI, security, and support providers that help deliver the service.
  • Third-party services that a user deliberately connects, such as email, calendar, file, messaging, or automation services.
  • Workspace administrators and authorized members according to their roles.
  • Authorities when disclosure is legally required, or when necessary to protect users, the service, or others.

Siela does not sell customer personal information.

Meeting recording and consent

Siela does not automatically record every meeting. A user must start capture. The user and customer organization are responsible for giving any required notice and obtaining consent from meeting participants before recording or transcribing a conversation.

Retention and deletion

Information is kept only for as long as needed to provide the service, secure it, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention may depend on workspace settings, the connected service, and whether a customer uses a hosted or self-hosted deployment.

A specific production retention schedule for recordings, transcripts, operational logs, deleted accounts, and backups will be published before general availability. Deletion requests can be sent to hii@siela.in.

Cookies and analytics

The current website does not use advertising cookies or marketing analytics. The Siela application may use essential, secure session cookies to authenticate users and protect accounts. If non-essential analytics are introduced, this policy and the consent experience will be updated first.

Security

Siela uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, secure session handling, and protected storage and transport. No system can guarantee absolute security. Suspected security issues can be reported to hii@siela.in.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

Requests can be sent to hii@siela.in. Workspace data requests may need to be handled by the organization that controls the workspace.

Contact and changes

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hii@siela.in.

This policy may change as Siela develops. Material changes will be reflected by a new last-updated date and, when appropriate, an additional notice.
